A. The iSee video recorder is the first and only personal media player
(PSP) that allows users to record video content directly onto their
Apple® iPods®. The iSee video recorder extends the functionality of
most iPods to include music, photos, and video storage, recording and
playback. The first iSee video recorder is the iSeeTM 360i.
Q. What does the iSee 360i look like?
A. The iSee 360i is a sleek, portable handheld device with a 3.6 inch LCD
screen. The device measures 6 x 3.2 x 1.1 inches and weighs only 6
oz. When the iSee 360i is combined with an iPod, it provides the look
and feel of a single, integrated unit. The iSee360i is available in either
black or white.
Q. How does the iSee work with an iPod?
A. The iSee uses the iPod as a mass storage device, and extends its
functionality to include video and photo capabilities.
Q. Will the iSee 360i work with my iPod?
A. The iSee 360i works with most fourth and fifth generation iPods,
including:
- 20GB click-wheel
- 20GB U2 edition
- iPod mini (adapter required)
- iPod nano (adapter required)
- 30GB iPod with video (adapter required)

Q. What is the MSRP for the iSee 360i?
A. MSRP for the iSee 360i is $249. If you have an iPod video, nano, or mini, you will need to purchase the appropriate adapter. Some stores carry a 360i that is packaged with a nano and video adapter. MSRP for this unit is $269.
Q. How long is the battery life of the iSee 360i?
A. The iSee 360i's replaceable and rechargeable battery has a minimum
of 4 hours of video play.
Q. How is the iSee 360i different from the iPod with video?
A. Unlike the iPod with video, which simply plays video content, the iSee
360i also allows users to record content from TV, cable, satellite, DVR
or any other analog source which means content options are almost
limitless. Additionally, the iSee 360i's 3.6 inch LCD screen has a 91%
larger viewing area than the iPod with video's 2.5 inch screen. Finally,
the iSee 360i has a rechargeable and replaceable battery that offers a
minimum of 4 hours of video play almost double that of the iPod with
video.
Q. How do I obtain content for the iSee 360i?
A. With the iSee 360i, iPod users can record their favorite shows directly
from TV, cable, satellite, computer, DVR or any other analog source
using the included A/V cables. The iSee's desktop software can
convert any video content on the computer to be viewed on the iSee
device.
Q. How do I download my DVD to the iSee 360i to view?
A. A DVD's content must be downloaded onto a computer, converted into
an MPEG file, and then downloaded onto the iPod in order to be played
on the iSee.
Q. Can I watch video content from my iSee 360i on my TV?
A. Yes video files can be played back on any TV with an analog in
connection at full TV 640X480 resolution.
Q. How do I connect the iSee 360i to a TV to play a movie?
A. Using the included A/V cables, the iSee user can connect the iSee 360i
directly to any analog in TV and play a movie stored on the user's
iPod unit.
Q. Is the quality of the picture out from the iSee 360i the same as
standard television quality?
A. Yes because the iSee 360i out-to-TV is a standard 640 x 480
television resolution, the picture quality is not compromised.
Q. How much memory does the iSee 360i have available?
A. The iSee 360i unit works in cooperation with the iPod, using the iPod
as a mass storage device. As such, the amount of storage available is
equal to the amount of storage space available on the iPod unit used
with the iSee 360i.
Q. Does the iSee 360i work with digital photos?
A. Yes, the iSee 360i can display digital photos stored on the user's iPod
unit.
Q. Can I download digital pictures directly to the iSee 360i?
A. No, digital pictures must be downloaded to a computer, and then
stored on the user's iPod. The iSee 360i is used for view the photos,
but they are actually stored on the user's iPod.
